Beginning Gratitude Journaling
So excited for our first #gratitudechallenge beginning Monday, June 21 (the solstice) moving right into the equinox. Many people I know use November as a gratitude month, I endeavor for a daily practice … not that I am perfect, but I try.
We get it. Gratitude is an amazing way to improve your quality of life. But, it’s often easier said than done. It’s tempting to get caught up in the world’s negativity. Or feel flustered when things happen outside of our control. I have found that turning off the TV helps (I don’t watch regular TV but I do stream movies, haven’t watched the news in years …)
Consequently, at times it’s embarrassingly difficult to see the good that’s right in front of us. This is normal.
Using Gratitude prompts can help
I once looked down at my gratitude journal to see that I was thankful for coffee five days in a row. Now, I AM grateful for that brown liquid gold. But, I also wasn’t taking the time to think more deeply. Appreciate more deeply.
That’s why these gratitude journal prompts are so helpful, if you get stuck on the coffee, browse thru and see if something helps to shift your focus. Some blessings you may have never considered before.
Often, we need a little nudge to do things well. In this case, use that gentle push to greatly improve your thoughts AND your life. You can download your complimentary copy of the gratitude journal here: https://82h.663.myftpupload.com/product/gratitude-journal/, use the coupon code gratitude 🙂
